Everyday, I just have to stop and be thankful for the plethora of opportunities that are available to me, especially as a woman in aviation. However, it can be easy to forget just how lucky we are when the information on scholarships is often strewn so widely across the internet. Because I want others to be able to find the assistance they need with as little frustration as possible during the process, I started this compilation of flight training opportunities. While the descriptions below do not spell out every requirement for each opportunity, it is my hope that you can use this space as a grounding point in which to begin your hunt.
Please note that I have simply extracted the information below directly from the organizations' webpages, which I have linked to at the top of each section. If you have any questions or concerns about the specifics, please contact the organization directly. Also, if I have missed any scholarships that you know of, please don't hesitate to let me know!

I, personally, have found an extreme amount of guidance and support through my local Ninety-Nines chapter. To apply for any of the following scholarships, you must be a member of the Ninety-Nines (so you must be a woman) and be current on your international AND chapter dues-- which is totally worth every penny, in my opinion. Both licensed pilots and student pilots are able to apply for membership, and in turn, apply for scholarships.
